{"id":1594,"date":"2019-03-13T02:00:13","date_gmt":"2019-03-12T18:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/art-nthu.org\/?p=1594"},"modified":"2019-03-13T02:14:31","modified_gmt":"2019-03-12T18:14:31","slug":"%e3%80%90%e6%bc%94%e8%ac%9b%e3%80%91beyond-the-boundaries-of-paper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/art.nthu.edu.tw\/?p=1594","title":{"rendered":"\u3010\u6f14\u8b1b\u3011Beyond the Boundaries of \u201cPaper\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/art-nthu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/2018-06-18-13.16.24.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u6f14\u8b1b\u984c\u76ee\uff1aBeyond the Boundaries of \u201cPaper\u201d<br \/>\n\u6f14\u8b1b\u65e5\u671f\uff1a2019\u5e743\u670813\u65e5 13:30-14:20<br \/>\n\u6f14\u8b1b\u5730\u9ede\uff1a\u6e05\u83ef\u5927\u5b78\u6821\u672c\u90e8\u7b2c\u4e8c\u7d9c\u5408\u5927\u6a13205\u6703\u8b70\u5ba4<\/p>\n<p>\u5305\u76db\u76c8(Sheng-Ying Pao)\u535a\u58eb\uff0c\u5927\u5b78\u7562\u696d\u65bc\u570b\u7acb\u6e05\u83ef\u5927\u5b78\u751f\u547d\u79d1\u5b78\u7cfb\u4e26\u8f14\u4fee\u8cc7\u5de5\u7cfb\uff0c\u4e26\u5728\u53f0\u7063\u5927\u5b78\u91ab\u5b78\u9662\u91ab\u5b78\u5de5\u7a0b\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u53d6\u5f97\u78a9\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\uff0c\u5728\u7f8e\u570b MIT Media Lab\u53d6\u5f97\u535a\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\uff0c\u662f\u4f4d\u517c\u5177\u79d1\u6280\u85dd\u8853\u8de8\u9818\u57df\u7684\u96e3\u5f97\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u3001\u79d1\u5b78\u5bb6\u3001\u5275\u696d\u4eba\uff0c\u5c08\u9577\u5305\u542b\u751f\u547d\u79d1\u5b78\u3001\u91ab\u5b78\u5de5\u7a0b\u3001\u6578\u4f4d\u5a92\u9ad4\u85dd\u8853\u3001\u524d\u77bb\u79d1\u6280\u5275\u65b0\u5275\u696d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5305\u76db\u76c8\u535a\u58eb\u66fe\u4efb\u767e\u5e74\u8de8\u570b\u4f01\u696d\u5275\u65b0\u6230\u7565\u7e3d\u76e3\uff0c\u540c\u6642\u65bc\u9ebb\u7701\u7406\u5de5\u5b78\u9662\u5a92\u9ad4\u5be6\u9a57\u5ba4\uff08MIT Media Lab\uff09\u6388\u8ab2\u4e26\u63a8\u52d5\u591a\u9805\u570b\u969b\u7522\u5b78\u5408\u4f5c\u3002\u5305\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u8de8\u9818\u57df\u5275\u65b0\u5275\u696d\u7d93\u9a57\u6a6b\u8de8\u8cc7\u8a0a\u79d1\u6280\u3001\u4e92\u52d5\u8a2d\u8a08\u3001\u8207\u5e02\u5834\u884c\u92b7\u3002\u7531\u65bc\u5979\u517c\u5177\u7522\u696d\u8207\u5b78\u8853\u7684\u8de8\u9818\u57df\u80cc\u666f\uff0c\u5305\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u53ca\u5275\u4f5c\u66fe\u88ab\u8c37\u6b4c(Google) \u3001\u63a8\u7279(Twitter)\u3001Dropbox\u3001\u53ca\u7f8e\u570b\u9280\u884c(Bank of America) \u7b49\u6536\u8cfc\u6210\u70ba\u65d7\u4e0b\u7522\u54c1\u3002\u5979\u5e36\u52d5\u7522\u5b78\u5408\u4f5c\u53ca\u7b56\u7565\u5275\u65b0\uff0c\u5c07\u7522\u54c1\u63a8\u5230\u570b\u969b\u5e02\u5834\u4e0a\u5e02\uff0c\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u5979\u5275\u7acb\u7684\u516c\u53f8\u5728\u773e\u7c4c\u5e73\u53f0Kickstarter\u6210\u529f\u52df\u8cc71500%\u3002\u5305\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u5275\u4f5c\u7531\u4e0a\u5343\u540d\u570b\u969b\u4f01\u696d\u7522\u54c1\u4e2d\u812b\u7a4e\u800c\u51fa\uff0c\u7372\u5f97\u591a\u9805\u570b\u969b\u8a2d\u8a08\u5927\u734e\uff0c\u5305\u62eciF\u8a2d\u8a08\u5927\u734e\uff0c\u5fb7\u570b\u7d05\u9ede\u8a2d\u8a08\u734e\uff0c\u9ebb\u7701\u7406\u5de5\u5b78\u9662TechX\u5275\u65b0\u5927\u734e\u3001\u82f1\u570b\u502b\u6566Best Design of the Year 2014 \u7b49\u3002\u5979\u662f\u5c11\u6578\u53d7\u5230TED\u4e3b\u8fa6\u55ae\u4f4d\u9080\u8acb\u6f14\u8b1b\u7684\u5973\u6027\u83ef\u4eba\u3002\u5979\u7684\u9805\u76ee\u4e5f\u53d7\u5230TED\u8a55\u9078\u70ba\u5341\u5e74\u4f86\u6700\u6d6a\u6f2b\u7684\u5275\u65b0\u3002\uff08\u66f4\u591a\u53c3\u8003\uff1a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.paoshengying.com\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.paoshengying.com<\/a> \uff09<\/p>\n<p>As artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and Big Data rise in popularity, several interesting challenges come to light. Many of the challenges belong to fundamental areas that determine not only the development of the emerging technology itself but also the future of humanity.<br \/>\nToday, technology increasingly permeates our environment but the spread of digital displays makes us more susceptible to passive viewership. What if we could combine the benefits of modern technology and traditional paper to empower communication and creativity? In this talk, Dr. Pao will present the interdisciplinary research, including a system that explores new affordances for pens that become an interface to transcend the boundaries of paper through a series of gesture interactions. Potential applications range from collaborative workspaces to participatory art experiences. Issues relating to create process, sharing and privacy, and usability are examined in light of the interactive nature of the system.<br \/>\nAnother metaphor of \u201cpaper\u201d is academic publication. In this talk, Dr. Pao will also take us to a journey  of academia research that goes \u201cbeyond the boundaries of paper.\u201d We now live in a world of global entrepreneurship.
