In 2017, he released a recording of newly discovered solo fantasias for viola da gamba by Georg Philipp Telemann, praised by The Observer for its \u201cexceptional musical quality.\u201d His recordings frequently present repertoire recorded for the first time, including lyra-viol music, and acclaimed duo works by Jenkins performed with his former teacher Paolo Pandolfo. Beyond historical performance, Robert actively explores cross-genre and interdisciplinary collaborations, including performances of his own arrangements of Metallica in unconventional settings.
